Our deepest condolences to Keith and the family. Jeanette will be truly missed. We were blessed to have known her. Family was important to Jeanette. After coming to Canada as a teenager to meet her Dad’s side of the family, she returned with Keith, Edward and Nicola to a Perry family reunion in Sunset Point, Alberta. (Not far from Edmonton). What a grand time we had getting to know one another around the campfire. When we visited England, Jeanette and Keith introduced us to the rest of the ‘Perry clan’ from ‘across the pond’ through special dinners and visits to see Aunt Joan. Over the years she has kept in touch which has always been important to us. Jeanette was an amazing hostess. On our first visit to Europe, Jeanette helped us plan our itinerary, suggesting places to go on our own in London and showed us the ins and outs of England's extensive transit system. This was our first introduction to the workings of a subway system which helped us traverse through many European cities! On each of our visits, Keith and Jeanette toured us around the castles, manors and gardens that they loved and enjoyed so much. It was a wonderful way to explore the English countryside. Back in 2007, Randy and I did not have cell phones so she insisted we take her “visitor” mobile with us on our travels through France and Norway in case of an emergency and we needed to get a hold of her. Just one more way Jeanette took care of us. As we or our children traveled throughout Europe, together or on our own, we appreciated that Jeanette and Keith were always there to make us feel welcome and to be a home base if needed. We were saddened to hear that Jeanette’s cancer was back. We last emailed each other when she was in the hospital just prior to her bowel surgery. We reminisced about our visits, shared a few memories and hoped for the best. We will miss you Jeanette and God speed. All our love to you, Keith.
